For those of you who follow contemporary sportscar series, you may have done similar to me at the w/e
and tried bribing any friend who had Sky to let you watch as much of the Motors TV coverage of the curtain
raiser to the 2007 season as possible

The race did clash with St Patrick's day, so I guess some of you were busy with the Guiness!

Anyway, I had been hoping beyond hope that the factory or at least a customer RS Spyder would be seen at this year's Le Mans 24.
But those Weissach Flacht boys just can't get the car running to the traditional levels of Porsche reliablity
that would be needed for the management to be ready to let the new(ish) baby out to play in front of the big crowds.
You'd hope that it could win its class by now, even if the idea of it beating LMP1 Audi's and (soon to come) Peugeots that some pundits
are hoping for, are pie in the sky.

On another note, Sebring saw Liz Halliday get her second podium finish at the Florida track.
Quick female drivers in prototypes don't come round very often so, any single DDK gents living near to her in Farnham
might do well to keep a look out for her down the local!
