RHD Cibie Biodes Complete with Hella Clear Glass Housings

I'm just beginning to go through the garage sorting out all the parts left over from the Martini RSR build, and I'm starting with
these as I think they are a bit special, to me the holy grail of early 911 headlights.

So for sale are my pair of RHD Cibe Biodes that I put together in case I needed them for the Martini car. The sealed beam biode
units themselves have been rebuilt and the reflectors re-silvered by 'Genius of the Lamp', one of the worlds leading restorers of
vintage headlights, I documented their work here: http://www.ddk-online.com/phpBB2/viewto ... us#p341441

They come fitted into rebuilt housings that have been repainted in the unusual Hella grey, and they are complete with original
Hella glass with the raised script 19 20 21 that has been re-polished. This glass is very rare now so I will include a new pair of
the current Porsche supplied repro lenses which would be safer to use. All the small parts like spring retaining clips and rubbers
have all been replaced or refinished and the chrome rims are in great shape.

I have to say I've never seen a pair offered like this in all the years I've been involved with the early cars, so it could be a great
opportunity for somebody. The price is £1800 for the pair complete.

I have loads of pictures but here are some to be getting on with...

Price is there within text so having just viewed on tapatalk it doesn't show the full text for some reason and cuts a fair bit of the copy out.

By the way - what a stunning pair!

Sorry if some can't view it all on some devices, hope you have all the details now. These are the spare Porsche
repro lenses that come with them as well as the rare originals:

Please excuse my ignorance, if you don't ask you don't learn! In addition to looking great, in what way are these better than a H1 or a H4? Thanks for an education ...
