Actually made my own contribution to this project and got busy with the Dremel.....

.....slits to aid cooling to the twin Behr front oil coolers and lightness added to the rear bumper....

Image

...a slight amendment to my original spec...

Thanks Danny :)

With outer panels painted....

Image

....time to wet flat (colour sand)....

Image

...and this is when a solid colour starts to come to life!...

Image

....the bonnet is glass with zero filler so expected it to be a little more wavy....happy with the result and it looks pretty much like steel....

Image

Assembly may have to wait until the New Year but we're pretty close now :)

It must be Christmas! :bigsmurf:

....well I guess I must have been because my Christmas pressie arrived today all the way from Northern California...

Image

....you'll notice one pair is a little wider than the other 8) ....

Image

....and the backs are as detailed as the fronts....

Image

....you have to wait a loonnngggg time for a set of wheels from Mr Weidman but then I was in no rush and they sure are pretty....

Image

....many thanks Harvey, you sure put a lot of love into these wheels...

Merry Christmas everyone :santa:

This is coming together really well. Harvey wheels are special when they come out of the box aren't they. It makes the waiting all worth while.

Car is going to be superb. And good effort on the Dremel.... I'd have been well nervous with that. Looks cool :-)
