John, has a good point. I have an adjustable box and after I set it up haven't touched it since. I also have been told its an MOT problem but my garage have never commented. In any case make sure you know its set position............I've had my knob fiddled with a few times... :P

I have an adjustable brake pedal/box, 2 masters etc on my full race Lola hillclimb car, made and fitted by Lola.

Set it once and have never touched it since.

On a road car i think this can be an MoT 'issue'?

Mines been MOTd with it. Chances if avg mot man knowing what it is is slim to negligible I'd say

Would agree though.. Only ever used it in my old RSR rep on a v wet trackday once

Still nice to have!

Tis' true, something that's unlikely to be used.......however, back in the day when the Mongrel was racing the many Tarmac rally and race tracks around Europe the bias allowed different drivers to set their own preference depending on the circuit being driven and so for the sake of historical period correctness it has to be done.....

.....plus it's a pretty cool mod antway! 8)

Cheers!

Thanks Richard,

Madly busy and two painters down in a team of four means my car has to play second fiddle at the moment :?

A niggle for sure although not a real issue, all will come in time and there's far more important things for me to focus on at the moment…..

….plus if I can continue to score the odd original rare part or two in the interim…..that'll keep me going for now!

Quite right - I bought 3 steering wheels and a pair of ferrari seats to help me through the dark times. the seats are still in my office - waiting an opportune moment to bring them home
