Simply Porsche - Beaulieu (Event pictures)

Well it was lovely and sunny this weekend so I took a trip down to 'Simply Porsche' in the grounds of the National Motor Museum.
I didn't imagine there would be many early cars present (and so it proved) but it was a fabulous day to be down in the New Forest.
Overall I take my hat off to TIPEC, they'd assembled a lot of cars and it was a nice event.

This was rather lovely.
Original paint (looking tired) and those very small bubbles all over that foretell so much.
Still, a great colour combo and a wonderful tartan interior.
It's tricky to capture in such bright & contrasty conditions but it was a very dark brown vinyl.
Nice car.

Another couple of nice IB cars.
The blue was nice but my choice would be the brown one. It had a gold Pasha interior and was cool.

Gone for a Singer-inspired look there I guess....with some better wheels and a more toned down exhaust it could be nice as the interior doesnt look too awful from what can be seen?

Thanks for pics Paul. I like the gold & bronze SC's and on cookies too!

Good.
I stopped to fill up with fuel on the way home and remarkably he pulled up at the pump beside me.
We chatted a little and he was delighted with his car.
Redtek have been sorting the car for him (it's a 3.2 Fulljames built motor) and he claims it's running fine.
His wife accompanied him and whilst us guys were talking my wife leaned in to quiz his passenger " are you a Porsche widow too?".
She glanced out at the glorious sunny weather and observed "I could have had a lovely day sunbathing in the garden"......
