The registration comes up as a 2.2 911 Turbo in Silver??

Guess maybe it didn't look like this when it came across in 99??

I'd want to know who did all the restoration work and expect pictures showing it all....otherwise could be just externally very shiny after a paint...

At first glance sounds promising..... Photographs of car taken in "last of summer wine" country not York.

What worries me is I've never heard of the Porsche expert that the seller (or rather the seller's "friend") refers to, or his business. Indeed a bit of googling reveals some not so complimentary feedback on the expert.

Have any of you northern 911 owners heard of him? Possibly a trade sale really?

I'm still tempted .....

The front & rear slam panels are bit of a tell I'd suggest.

Yep, I'm tempted too but agree the slam panels do seem a bit more aged than the rest of the shiny paintwork! Has it just had a blow over? Also looks like the shut lines might be a little iffy on the close up shot of the door (or is it just me?)

Presuming its non original colour judging by the above comment of it being a silver turbo? Also missing its sill trims and potentially expensive door bins.

Sorry, was probably being a bit generous with that comment but I am viewing the pics on a tiny phone screen so difficult to get the full scale of patina, just looks like they've been painted with underseal blown on through a McDonalds straw from where I'm sitting.

Also looks like the metal channel behind the lower part of the bonnet seal is very distorted and totally crushed on the one side! Sign of previous accident damage maybe or just a careless owner who's buckled it putting something super heavy under the bonnet?

Aren't the wipers sweeping the wrong way for LHD? And why do vendors insists on showing that the car has carpet under the bonnet, I want to see what's under that!?
