Oil tank..

When is an oil tank not an oil tank ?...when it's a colander.

What's the general consensus here, do I weld up or replace ?
Don't want to take any risks after the engine rebuild.

Agree, the inside will be coming away, hard bits in the oil are not good news...

And as far as porsche parts go there not too bad in price lol. Used bumper yes, seats yes, wings if you have to, oil tank no

That's Carpoint and probably one of Marek's tanks (early911parts on here).....

....Carpoint are fine to deal with generally however if something's not correct they never respond or get back to you.

It might be an idea to deal with Marek directly, he's sound.
