Rear towing eye

Post by Alex Postan »

A couple of years ago I saw a yellow 2.7 RS with a towing eye that located at the rear of the engine/crossmember. It didn't look like a homemade one-off. Can anyone tell me where to find one of these?
If you haven't got 2nd gear by the time the lights go green, then you've made a bad start.

There was a Factory aluminium rear tow hook that was used on race cars & was an option for the '73 RS.

I've had a few of them on cars over the years but can't seem to find a picture at the moment.

That's the one!
Thanks, I think that the credit card is going to be put to use.

It looks as if it would bend if you hung a shirt from it....
