There’s nothing unfortunate about it. He is deliberately ruining people’s lives and causing immeasurable amounts of stress for people who trusted him....

The forthcoming Open Day could be very 'interesting'.

Just read the initial post referred to a few posts above.

So, if all these official offices have been approached, Trading Standards etc, over these recent episodes, how come the dealer is still trading?
Are complaints actually made to these offices or is it all left to a solicitor?

Seems strange to me people are (rightfully) taking legal action and seem to eventually succeed do not finish the job off and get the Trading Standards etc involved?
Is this dealer's method of business actually tolerable because the person involved eventually gets paid?

This is astonishing !

I commented on a similar thread about the same dealer previously as I was on the receiving end of a variant of his tactics some years ago. He seems to think he is above the law and above common decency. Whilst reading the thread the programme Watchdog / Rogue traders was on TV, so I felt it appropriate to email them a link to this thread.

Perhaps everyone else would like to do the same on watchdog@bbc.co.uk - I suspect that should they receive numerous messages it'll have more impact and hopefully lead to a TV appearance for said individual

Here is the auto reply:

Thank you for taking the time to write to Watchdog.

Unfortunately we receive so many e-mails, letters and calls that we are unable to respond personally to each and every one.

However, your correspondence will be read by our research team and should we decide to follow up the subject you have raised, one of our researchers may well be in contact with you.

Please ensure that you have left a contact number, and included any relevant documents, photos, or videos.

Once again, many thanks.

Looks like the Gmund open day has been an interesting one

Can’t blame them when you’re owed over £50k

Excellent, but will or has it made a difference?
Was the owner there and confronted?

That’s a pretty stylish effort. Well played.

Since the option also exists of reporting the proprietor’s wife (ex-director of the company, local councillor, solicitor) for fraud to the council and the law society, I hope enough pressure can be brought to bear for a speedy result....

So do we know if there was any reaction from Mr Gmund?

Interesting to see there hasn't been any social media generated by them to report on the Open Day

I just read the update from the guy with the Boxster on 911UK. Looks like he didn't encounter AM nor seek him out. He seems to have a plan for further activities though. I do wonder whether it's a risky strategy, being so public. I could imagine AM getting entrenched and if his troubles mount doing some financial engineering and a pre pack to get rid of his liabilities.

Or simply launching a legal counter with losses arising from defamation and libel and tying it up for ages that way.

I admire the guy for doing it and hope it doesn't backfire.
