I asked the question 'over there' Stuart... to no avail. :? There was a thought that they could be latches, not hinges.... but no.

I reckon hinging the bonnet like that would give you ALL SORTS of problems. :?

looking at the shut lines & what looks like bonnet pins near the scuttle, it does look like it is hinged from the front. At least it won't fly up into the drivers face at speed ;)

What sort of problems exactly? I'd have thought that it makes the petrol filler easier to get to, and yes - won't flip up at speed. Don't really like the look especially though
