O/T - Der uber-shed

OK finally it's finished (well Version 1.0 anyway)


It's a farrow and ball colour - I'm pleased with it - very 1950's.

Some pics of the inside:-

Notable details:-
The yellow pipe hanging down from the ceiling - that's an airline on a return spring - if I need to power airtools thorughout the shed or garage I just pull it down
The bench on the left is a neigbours bunk bed that I cut down, and then cut and shut it further to let me store my welder underneath. It's got the top of a conference table from work on top.
The chrome lever sticking out of the door jamb is a toilet handle - it's the perfect size to fit into the trapdoor in the roof.

Moving along a bit:-

We've got a better view of the bunkbed workbench, and the nice windows. The red toolbox is on wheels and I've hung my spanner set on the side so for any work int ehgarage I can just wheel it through.
On the wall I've got my big round industrial light switch which works brilliantly and makes turning on the (10!) striplights a real occasion
Below that is a red switch set into the trunking. That turns on the compressor which is now living outside down the side of the shed - but covered by it's own little roof.

Turning round the other way:-

This bit's still a work in progress - the woodstore is temporary until I've built an outside woodstore and the fridge is going. Once the woodstore has gone there will be a stainless steel sink here.

I'm absolutely loving it - thanks to all the insulation, with a small heat heater it becomes a very cosy place to work very quickly, with plenty of natural light and sh1tloads of artificial light. I got a digital radio for my birthday (I can't work without the radio on) so I'm happy as a pig in sh1t.

I can now re-commence my bodywork journey of discovery......

Well done very impressive, love your recycling, if you have the toilet seat from the Jack's you got the handle from, they make great picture frames, which you need to finish it off

Don't leave the windows uncovered if you are planning to keep the toolbox there. Similarly, keep any power tools out of sight. A set of metal venetian blinds would do the job.

You need a sofa or a nice comfy chair in there too, to have a place of peace and quiet away from the rest of the tribe....and a mini bar....and a plasma screen....wifi I take it is also in place.....??

But I agree, get those net curtains ( or blinds ) up on the Windows to keep out any prying eyes / Tea leaf
