I remember driving Kit home to Glasgow from Cheltenham, 3rd December 2012. Had never driven an early 911 for any longer than 10 mins. We drove home in heavy rain, snow and ice.....loved every mile of it, my cheeks were sore from smiling all the way home, didn't know how to work the heating controls either. One of my favourite journey's.

Enjoy

We made it safely, thanks for the good wishes I'm sure they helped! The car went extremely well, especially as this trip represents more miles than she covered in the past 12 months…and we have indeed discovered some idiosyncrasies! The gods smiled on us too, I think we have missed the salt fest by a ba' hair.

Picked my car up from edinburgh airport and convoyed the last leg, surrounded by weather and fireworks. A great trip, David may chime in with his own pics.

Was a bit windy on the Forth Bridge though:

That would be a nice bit of DDK history :)

And that's quite a day trip, somehow the early starts and long distances easily fade when there's a great car to collect. And I'm sure a challenging journey home makes it all feel well earned! Like the pics and will be good to see more.. enjoy the 912 David!
