Ethanol resistant fuel line.
I am going to do my fuel lines soon as they are an unknown quantity to me.
Does anyone have a good source of Ethanol resistant line?
What do the pros on the forum use?
Are their any braided versions available?

Re: Ethanol resistant fuel line.
HI Matt
I've used a Teflon coated and braided fuel lines from a ebay supplier torques uk on my 911. If you need a look at it and are in Lisburn any stage let me know and you can have a look. Seems to be as good as goodridge etc but less expensive.

Re: Ethanol resistant fuel line.
Is it just the fuel lines that need replacing, I thought that Ethanol affected the tank and maybe the injectors.

Re: Ethanol resistant fuel line.
I intend to go through the system as a matter of course. I have read it affects a good many rubber components.
I have also seen Cohline and Codan products
Does anyone have any experience.
I would like to keep the braided line appearance but with a modern product that is Ethanol resistant if at all possible.

Re: Ethanol resistant fuel line.
I've used Cohline fabric-braided hose without any problems ...

I used AFS like Chris Matt. Efficient service. Not sure which model you have however if it is a 914, check the Bowlsby 914 site as there is an article that lists out the sizes and lengths needed ahead of purchase.

Re: Ethanol resistant fuel line.
I use a fuel additive. 2 stroke semi marine engine to protect engine seals etc against enthanol.

Re: Ethanol resistant fuel line.
Interesting responses.
I guess for an older non FI car there are a few options.
1) Move to a non original looking bio fuel resistant line.
2) Fit braided rubber hose and inspect regularly expecting to replace every year or so.
3) Go Brendan's route and use an additive.
4) Seek out E0 fuels such as super unleaded, I read that Total don't use Ethanol in their fuels but I am not sure how they manage that.
Brendan, how did you come across the 2 stroke oil idea?
