Re: Bucket Seats
Hi Dirk. No, not time correct, I am considering buying new ‘classic’ seats. My car has what I think are standard Recaro ‘comfort’ seats which are later than the car, I’m guessing late 60s. I’m looking for something more supportive. Recaro sports seats sound good but might blow the budget!

Bucket Seats
I’m after a pair of bucket seats for a 1966 912, with headrests, rather than without.

Re: Rocker cover finish
Thanks Sean. Would that be inside and out? I had my overiders and horn grilles re-plated some years ago, would they be a similar finish to those?

Rocker cover finish
My rocker covers are looking a little shabby. What are my options to refurbish them? They look to be chromed (dull, rather than a bright finish). Are they chromed from the factory? Do people paint them? Should there be a particular finish on the inner surface?

Re: Machined 356/912 sump plates
Many thanks, Ollie. I’ll take a look at my sump plate (no doubt wavy) and give it some thought.

Hi Ollie. What is the advantage of your sump plates? They look beefier than the originals. Thanks.

Re: 912 owner bad engine build
Thanks for posting this. I’m about five miles from this outfit and had thought about taking them my 912 for a tune and look at a couple of issues. Perhaps I won’t.

The Chris Harris ‘Collecting Cars’ podcast with Gordon Murray is also very good, as it covers Murray’s interesting career as well as the T50.

I’m surprised at 20k sold, that seems like a big number. I would assume that rates as a success for Bentley?

Both impressed and surprised that you kept up with a Golf R. I suppose it comes down to the abilities of each driver.

Evening. Is the ATE front calliper repair kit suitable for a ‘66 912? If so, I’m keen. Thanks.

Drop link bushes
My droplink bushes appear to have seen better days. Is it worth paying the extra for the power flex bushes or should I stick with standard oem rubber? Power flex appear to supply black or purple variants, not sue of the difference. It’s a1966 car at a standard height. Thanks
