mmm yes I've heard of the repair stuff, but unfortunately I think mine's too far gone. In fact, theres virtually no contact left anywhere on the window...:shock: Although....I wonder if you could use that stuff to paint your own demister design onto the window, rather than boring old horizontal line...

The throttle pedal itself on my '69 has a spring built into the rubber - I think this is original. When the pedal is removed, you can see that the part that bolts to the floor is spring-loaded against the bit your foot goes on.. although the spring is molded into the rubber of the pedal so you cant ...

Cheers guys, it looks to me like the NoiseKiller foil backed stuff is similar to the Dynamat for the engine bay, and then some of the adhesive foam sandwich for the inside. Will try and get some prices for this stuff, with the discount... The engine and 'box are on the floor now.. lots of little job...

Well I'm planning to take the engine and gearbox out tonight, so as to carry out a small amount of welding on the rear bulkhead, and for some general tinkering. I guess if theyre discrete then its got to be a good idea. I see what you mean about the key though Gavin... a bit like the classic one of leaving the stereo facia in the glove box...

Does anyone use them? I wouldnt want my nice deep 6's to dissapear from my car overnight outside my house.. :x But most locking nuts would look really out of place on period fuchs... and has anyone heard of these types of wheels being stolen anyway?
