Re: 185/70VR15 CN36

Seriously; is it really all about price. Yes the Vredestein is cheaper than the CN36. But the Pirelli is a genuine original equipment tyre made by one of the worlds best tyre manufacturers with a V speed rating. https://www.borrani.com/en/pirelli-tyres/cinturato-cn36/185-70vr15-pirelli-cinturato.htm...

Re: New tyre on the block

"Vintage looking tread pattern" is a funny one. Blockley isn't a period tyre. Michelin and Pirelli actually make period looking tyres because they are the real thing and they are made by Pirelli and Michelin. https://www.borrani.com/en/pirelli-tyres/cinturato-cn36/185-70vr15-pirelli-cintur...

Re: 165HR15 or 185/70VR15

Hey Up John We do seem to be having a VSCC reunion. The Firestone F560 tyre was really popular and used to be a really good price. However today they are not such a bargain. the http://www.longstonetyres.co.uk/page/165hr15-pirelli-cinturato-ca67.html 165HR15 Pirelli CA67 Cinturato & http://www.l...

Re: 165HR15 or 185/70VR15

Hi

I think i know what feltching is. if it is what i think it is i wish i didn't know. It is nearly as bad as Ice docking or putting white walls of Porsches

(Mercedes 230SL is different)

Re: 165HR15 or 185/70VR15

Ha ha ha ha ha Hey Up Winston. i wondered if i would stumble across you while blatantly flogging tyres on every Porsche site on t'internet. I think the answer is to guzzle several ales and discuss at length the merits of both tyre options, and silly impractical chain driven cars. Are you doing the P...

Re: 185/70VR15 Pirelli CN36

"Want to advertise on DDK Dougal? I'll keep asking." Er i probably should, shouldn't i. I am going to Retromobile tomorrow. Can we discuss it next week. Could you email me the details and we can come up with a plan. To be brutally frank i have been posting like mad on all sorts of forums s...

165HR15 or 185/70VR15

Hi

Has anyone tried a 356 on 165Hr15 Cinturato CA67?

Or on the 185/70VR15 CN36 that was fitted to the early 911?

Re: Original tyres

Hi Because of the development of a couple of Porsche tyres i have had made recently, one of them being the Pirelli CN36 that was fitted to 911 in 1973. i do want to know what were OE on these cars. It is good for me to have the knowledge, among other things then i can get my web site as slick and in...
