Paul - can you take some close-up shots of the mirror location & rubber wedge ?

Martin - it's a 6x15" 'flat face' Fuchs with a 36mm offset.

The last 2 digits of the part number (00) indicate that it accepts the 3-prong centre caps as opposed to the later (10) version which takes the ring type centre cap.

Date code is likely to be '72 or early '73.

Do a search on vinylcote - I've used it in the past with great results.

The Weltmeister decal for '69,'70 was used up until late February 1972 - after that the remainder of the '72 models had the '69,'70,'71 decal.

They are conventional wheel spacers.

Anything thicker than about 6mm will require longer wheel studs.

It varies to some extent from car to car & depends what make & size of tyre you fit, whether your suspension is standard (or uprated) & whether or not you have increased negative camber.

Minimum spacer is usually 6mm up to about 18mm.

The replacement voltage regulators that most outlets sell now are 'solid-state' electronic units as opposed to the original 'electro-mechanical' type. The regulator is in the engine compartment on (or near) the relay board on the lh side.
