Re: Porsche for sale of the day..........

That gives an idea of where the sellers premium is.....Bonham can sell for seller's minimum by slashing their cut....finishing the day with a good sale rate can be pretty expensive.

Re: Porsche for sale of the day..........

This looks very nice, bit short on words though. A bit of front end lower and rear end higher.... Gotta love a red T5, (well I do anyway) W

Re: Non-Porsche for sale of the day

I took Pat to a couple of Farnboroughs as he was growing up, something I did with my dad (who worked latterly at Westland, but BAC before that). We were there for the last Vulcan visit....we wriggled as close as possible to the runway between the grandstands, as it took off, organ rattlingly loud, i...

Re: my non-Porsche picture of the day

A good friend bought this at about the same time as we bought the 356, both cars were pretty scruffy, both attractive in completely different ways. The Aceca had a Daimler V8 and went well. He sold it to someone who started a major resto on it...Ali over conduit is a tricky fix.... https://uploads.t...

Re: new restomod 914

I'd be pretty cheesed off if was having hassle with DVLA for a rhd conversion or a roll cage install, and yet this gets away with being a classic car........W

Re: Dazed and confused

Never having been a member of PCGB, I don't have the right to feel sidelined......I suspect that us 356 types are in some way, self sidelining. Ive enjoyed real life face to face DDK action (thanks Neil) and accidentally (sort of) really enjoyed a Richard East Spring Drive, which I later found out w...

Re: Charity Classic Sprint Demonstration, Curborough, Bank Holiday Monday

If you guys fancy taking part in the action, which is untimed, but with the option to carry passengers, it would be worth contacting yhe organisers, there may be some spare slots available. Last year we got 3 or 4 two lap runs....Good fun. Sadly we are unlikely to make it this year. W

Charity Classic Sprint Demonstration, Curborough, Bank Holiday Monday

This is a great day out for all the family, superb selection of spectating and participating cars. Informal atmosphere, side shows etc. We've run the 356, and Austin 7 and really enjoyed the day out. I understand there may still be some track spaces available, but the more spectators the better. The...
