I am after function rather than form - When I drive a LHD car in UK, I find the RHS mirror invaluable, and also fitted an extra on my 914, where it could be fitted symmetrically and give a good view especially when joining motorways etc. Do those that replied drive LHD or RHD here? Rather than fit t...

Offside Durant mirrors
I now have a second Durant mirror which I want to put on the RHS of my LHD 911T. Has anyone any thoughts on how to fix it as if it is fitted symmetrically with the LHS one, it is impossible to see anything in it!! Can it be positioned further aft on the door, or is the door double-skinned there maki...

Thanks - apart from taking an age to download, the chart is fascinating - the Bahama Yellow is nothing like my '69 911T - so maybe the V5 is wrong - it is much lighter and more yellow. Viper Green looks spot on, and they hadn't invented Rubystone Red before 1973 apparently. However, even if you try ...

Music while you drive!!
I guess it is desirable to have an early radio in your early Porsche for appearance and originality - unfortunately you don't get good sound or good stations,- let alone Cd's and MP3!! Does anyone know of a radio available that looks the part, yet has FM and a decent tuner? Is there a 'retro' radio ...

Andy, Thanks for that comprehensive explanatory diagram - now I know exactly where I should have been measuring to get the quoted figures - but offset is not an easy thing to measure, given that it is to an imaginary point on the centreline. For the purposes of comparing Fuchs wheels, repro or origi...

Fuchs wheel offsets
Grateful for some advice about how to determine and measure offsets. On my recently bought 911T I have (I believe) one Fuchs 6J x 15 with a shallow depth from the rim to thedeepest part of the front of the wheel, and three which I suspect are repro and are deeper, simply labelled 6 x 15 (no fox embl...

Carb servicing
Does anyone know of someone who can service, or even just clean and tune the T/C Webers on my 1969 2.0l 911T effectively? I have tried searching the web, but a lot of red herrings and out of date addresses.
