£30.87 all in. That's not too bad. Not available from a local engineering supplies?

Re: OT VW Beetle questions

Winston, if it's ground clearance your after there are hundreds of sets of ex T2 reduction hubs discarded across the UK. Easy to source and they do take quite a bit of torque before eating themselves - at least my single cab did until I got a little too enthusiastic with the poor thing. Then we fitt...

They claimed a quicker 0-60 than the 930 when it came out.

I've quietly lusted after one since.

Re: My old motors thread - probably done before, but who car

My current truck averages 19mpg... The SRT10 is just too juicy unless you have really deep pockets. Medium pockets but then average mpg out the window as Kuwait virtually gives its fuel away anyway. Favourable financials balanced out by regularly replacing 'quality' rear Bandags. This will be comin...

Re: Your Porsche pic of the day......

I've not studied this in any detail—yet—but type should be spaced optically, not mathematically, so the diagram could well be correct. The kerning, yes, but not the lack of centring on the panel itself. Admittedly, only 1.5mm across the full width once corrected but, as Mrs C sighs far too often, t...

Ram SRT10 daily here in Middle East which would be cripplingly expensive to run in the UK. Kudos to you with 8-10mpg (at best?) at home pump prices.

Re: My old motors thread - probably done before, but who car

I briefly owned a Type 3 Karmann Ghia but can't find any photos of it. I think I sold it to cubist. It was a dead ringer for this one just with a ground scraping stance. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/49708594293_286ef2d888_o.jpg You did.
