911 3.0 SC Complete CIS system *sold awaiting payment*

Hi There The system is from a 930/10 engine and as far as I can tell is complete. I haven't had the engine running but I'm happy to provide detailed images and undertake any basic testing such as resistance tests if that helps. I won't be removing for a couple of weeks so there is the opportunity fo...

Re: Meet Ralph - 1970 ST project

That's amazing, thanks very much both. Things didn't work out as I'd hoped over Christmas but got a bit done this morning. I couldn't decide where to mount the battery switch so went for this solution as I can always change my mind in the future. Started the day with a bit of CAD. https://live.stati...

Re: Meet Ralph - 1970 ST project

Almost ready to fit the fuel tank but a bit nervous about the bonnet latch not working properly. I had a couple occasions when it wouldn't open and I had to crawl underneath to open it. The latch seems a bit 'floaty' like there may be a pivot point missing. It does seem from playing with it that the...

Re: Meet Ralph - 1970 ST project

Fuel pump mounted, seemed logical to put it at the opposite side to the Fuse box and battery. I will replace the sticker with Bendix one from ebay at some point.

Re: Meet Ralph - 1970 ST project

Yep, spring is the goal. I'm really trying to keep things as simple as possible as well as not getting too bogged down with detail. I'm buying as many things as possible in yellow Zinc but there are things such as the clips for the heater cable outers that came from Porsche in silver. I've decided t...

Re: Meet Ralph - 1970 ST project

Small blanking plug is M14 x 1.5 , this will replace the banjo bolt that was used for the return. This was from T7 design on ebay who also do really great quality Bowden cables that I got for the heater/vent controls.

Re: Meet Ralph - 1970 ST project

Been a while but up and running again, New ST looks like a nice thing but really seems like a missed opportunity. Not really seeing anything inspired by an original. Center fill, period color or even just options for a period inspired livery would have been nice. So it looks like I’ll have to just s...

Re: Meet Ralph - 1970 ST project

Thanks for that, think I'm going to have a second go with some help to lift in and out. I didn't really appreciate that there was quite a bit of work fitting the trim, think I was expecting it to be a 5 min job. I've removed and refitted the screen in my other car a couple of times but it didn't hav...

Re: Meet Ralph - 1970 ST project

Thanks, Rear screen fitted yesterday morning, really pleased and relieved to get it done . Although I got the screen for a really good price I checked the price of a new one which did put the pressure on somewhat. Tried the front screen this afternoon and managed to smash it within minutes, only cos...

Re: JP Group (danske) Roof lining

Hi There, I've just fitted retro trim one from D911. It was the black none without sunroof. Nothing really to compare with but the fabric is really quite think and its really stretchy, in a good way. Feels and looks great quality fabric. I needed to lay the rods over it and trim down the loops that ...

Re: Meet Ralph - 1970 ST project

Steady progress, got the Headlining 90% complete today. Went for black which I'm really happy with but decided try gorilla contact adhesive which is complete arse and even after 5 mins drying time only just sticks. Luckily I practiced attaching off cuts of of heading to a coke can and realised this ...
