Hi Robster - I got mine from OPC nottingham - wasn't any problem when I phoned up and spoke to Kevin in the parts department It came with some spare blades as well which I hadn't appreciated when I ordered it (I ordered some extra ones). Now idea how it differs from the pelican one or the porschshop...

There is a circular central locking knob - the centre part prizes out leaving a screw that can be undone 2. the door pull is connected to the opening metal mechanism by a metal rod with a hook at the end - this had to...

Tappet Adjustment tips

Did my tappets today (on 911) for the first time - used this excellent article on pelican http://www.pelicanparts.com/techarticles/911_valve_adjust/911_valve_adjust.htm The only thing I can add to the article is that when I started doing them I was trying to look at what I was doing and was trying t...

Tappets - or is it?

Got my car back recently (3.2 engine) - it's not been run since 5th September and I got it back just over a week ago. The Garage checked all the levels and off I went. Ran OK for a few days but then started to notice what I thought was a tappet noise - like a drummer hitting the edge of a drum. Got ...

I've had something very similar on my 3.2 - tried lot of things but stupidly it came down to a sticking throttle linkage - bit of lube & it was good as new. I sussed it out by the fact that I could drop the revs by pulling the throttle up instead of down, and also when I did the same sort of thr...

Yes please - that would be absolutely brilliant - I popped down to the garage today and thankfully they hadn't started putting the light in yet.

I've ordered two proper ones now and they'll fit them when they arrive so a picture would be brilliant thanks

Cheers
