A little advice based on our experience. Make sure that all of the feed pipes are in really good condition before re-activating the cold start system. That is not dry & cracked. Also the supply pipe from the solenoid valve can foul against the MFI pump drive belt. We've seen the fire damage this...

2.2 or 2.4T engine
Hey boys and girls - what have you got stashed away? We're looking for a complete (ish) 2.2 or 2.4 motor to help a customer out of a tight spot.

We have a van a trailer heading to Germany next week to collect the booty acquired from the Essen show. Returning via the top of Holland.

Re: Essen anyone?
I can report that show was very good and on its way back to it pre-covid form. We went from Wednesday to Friday and I'm still not sure if we saw everything. The manufacturers haven't return yet though. Everyone was super friendly and pleased to see us, hotel great, on-site street food & beverage...

Re: Classic Beetle question
Hi Winston. We converted a ‘74 Beetle 1200 to IRS recently. It’s still here if you want to come and see it. We have a jig to position the trailing arm mounts before cutting & welding. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20230322/91949427aced87c05954a182f1b7e50b.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/...

Re: 1970 914 rubber front bumper top
We have a new pair of GRP bumpers if you want to consider going that way. A good way to save a bit of weight from where counts and you don't have to worry about the mild steel within the rubber continuing to rot and expand.
