Great, thanks for the tip.
I bought an original NOS Bosch cut-off switch for the LHS scuttle from Amallagh on eBay a little while ago but I may well have found a complete but dismantled S engine already from another board member which all being well I will be proceeding with.

WTB: Complete & running ‘72 S engine
Type 911/53 2.4 S MFI, Serial number: 632xxxx Please PM me with photos including serial number, crankcases and type number stamps and the price you would be wanting for it. (This replaces my earlier post wanting just S crankcases as this makes more sense for my 2.5 ST project, and will hopefully sav...

Re: WTB: ‘72 2.4S crankcases
Thanks for the offer Mike.
Let's see if anything comes up. If not, I could be interested and would sell the complete T engine I have in my donor car.

Market price of original 1972 M409 Recaros & standard seats?
What would be the market price of a pair of 1972 M409 Recaros in black leatherette/ houndstooth in mint condition and also what would be the price of a pair of standard seats in the same trim?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: FS: 911S Rear Overiders.
Hi
Are there any differences between model years for these? I could be looking for a pair for a '72 S but they would need to be correct.
Thanks.

Re: WTB: Genuine ‘72 2.5 ST parts for HTP car: what have you
Hi Andy Thanks for the offer. The chassis number of the GeLo car is 0955 and I really need to try and get an interior shot of the car so I can establish whether Recaro ST or Scheel 300 was fitted at the time. However if it does turn out to be a Recaro, and yours is still available I will definitely ...

Re: WTB: Genuine ‘72 2.5 ST parts for HTP car: what have you
Please note that I have been supplied with a copy of Sports Purposes Information 2nd edition now, so that's taken care of. I have decided that the car will be the '72 GeLo Racing Le Mans entry (car #44, driven by Georg Loos, Jean Sage and Franz Pesch), and am researching this car as much as possible...

WTB: Genuine ‘72 2.5 ST parts for HTP car: what have you got
Everything needs to be period-correct, per homologation papers and not repro. NOS would be considered however. It is intended that the finished car will be an exact copy of the Gelo Racing car which competed in the ‘72 Le Mans 24hrs or Porsche factory car 911 230 0841 (which later became ‘73 RS prot...

New UK member
Hi everyone Thought I'd introduce myself as a new member to the board - I'm 52, live near Woodstock in Oxfordshire, married with two teenage daughters. I'm also a long-time Porsche fan, having owned a Polar Silver / Midnight Blue 993 C2 Coupe back in 2000-2003 which I loved to bits but unfortunately...
