Re: 1971T Coupe LHD Sporto - Burgundy - US Import
So I've decided to fix up a few nagging things starting with a new stainless exhaust. Incredibly the original mild steel version I had from new in 2014 rusted. It was just surface rust and I could've sprayed it again but... just no, stainless now looks amazing (will post up later). The car has now a...

Interesting... thanks. The above lot (Chromerestospecialists) have quoted 72+VAT for each reflector in case that is useful for anyone considering the same

Re: zenith tin 40 / latches / distributor / fuel filler - 91
Forgot to mention I also bought some jacking points thinking they were something else... Here was the original ad: Porsche 911/912 sill jack point tubes 1964-1973. New. Pair of new jack receiver tube for all 911/912. Having a tidy up and found these-they are new, but not sure if OE or pattern. Porsc...

H1 restoration - guidance and pointers
One of the final pieces of my puzzle is fitting correct headlights to my '71T and have been sitting on these H1s for sometime waiting for a lockdown to start! I was going to do use these guys for resilvering: http://www.chromerestorationspecialist.co.uk/services/headlamp-re-silvering/ Rewire them my...

zenith tin 40 / latches / distributor / fuel filler - 911T
I've been keeping these for a rainy day and well, my bits have never failed and it's time to move them on. I have some of these advertised on eBay but I'd prefer a community sale and will reduce the prices of all by 20% for those here. Zenith's - £800 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PORSCHE-911-911T-Zeni...

Re: 912 seat recline mechanism information?
I have the same issue with both of my seat units - over the years I have found it is not in one position either - so if I leave it (randomly reclining) it will recline through multiple positions. My thinking is it is the lever's teeth rather than the seat's (if that makes sense) but would love to se...

Re: PAIR OF SUNVISORS FOR 70/71 COUPE
On my resto I incorrectly bought a set of black / black LHD for my '71 and am looking for a set of black/white. If we can strike a deal for half the replacement cost or something close I would consider the trade... pm if still interested...

Possible to obtain ownership history from the DMV?
I want to write to the DMV to obtain more information on the ownership history of my US import ('71T). It was exported to the UK in 2013/14 and didn't come with any paperwork besides the last title. I have the original dealership on the CoA and I have the last registered owner's name but that's it. ...

OT: Popcorn machine for donation and beer
Yes you heard that... a popcorn machine. This is not your typical at home thing though, not unless you've got the ultimate man's cave (so I guess for the right person it is). This is a commercial unit for making a boat load of popped corn... Take a look at it here We thought it was good idea for eve...

69-73 Pedal board with fixings...
Bought this as a new recreation on here from a member (Ron?) to fit my Sporto but it isn't correct. At the time I filed away some of the board below the accelerator back stop to give it more room for the push rod - works well. Have since replaced it and as such have no need for this. Paid £120 from ...

Re: stolen 912
Walked past that regularly parked up a side street in NW3, always in the same spot. Highly desirable thing just sitting out there, more than once I saw a hand written note on it, assumedly an offer of some sort. I have to admit thinking it was bold to keep it there like that and sorry it eventually ...
