Cheers buddy :) I've just got in from the garage (grub is about to be served by Mrs G) I've taken out the winder mech, it's quite easy to see what happened, the toothed part had come apart from the roller part, then the spring fell off. looks like I just need to file some of the top the connecting p...

window winder mechanism

Does anyone have a picture of a window winder mechanism out of the car... I got to the office carpark this morning wound the pass. window slightly to swipe my barrier pass, didnt realise but i must have been leaning on the top of the glass ...clunk.. the glass dropped about 4"... the winder won...

As Barry says, have a quick check of the lower ball joints Martin. Jack the front of the car up so the wheels are about 1.5" off the ground, then put a pry bar underneath the tyre and lever the wheel up slightly, whilst doing that try to eyeball the lower balljoint and see if there's any notica...

Item number 10 (lifted from Brays)… http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y126/911EGG/cableaa.jpg I was just off out for a nice drive on Sunday arvo, went to to pull away from the lights and the pedal went flat to the floor… ok I thought…maybe a connector has come off, pushed the car around the corner ha...

Silly point, but I assume these are driving lamps as opposed to fog lamps ? Hi Ian they are 55W 'H1' bulb holders in which case, I'd say Driving lamps :wink: also I removed the yellow bulb cover pieces on my Marchals and ran then with 'white lights' only, i found the yellow just looked too funky on...
