Re: Adding pictures

You need to use an image cloud storage provider. What you do is then embed a link to that image in the body of your post and hey presto it appears when you preview or submit. I think most people on here use Postimage following the demise and disastrous relaunch of photobucket...once you have uploade...

Re: Usability of 2ltr 911t and late 70s 2.7ltr 911s

I have had a '78 SC and a '73 T (CIS) overlapping. Nothing in between however so can't comment on the 2.7. The '73 gives a much more classic feel. Lighter, nimbler, noisier and you don't have to be doing mad speeds to enjoy. So closer to your Lancia and Alfa experiences. The SC, even in its first ye...

Number 43 on the diagram below. It's a steel wire that fits vertically into the bellows and stops the centre gradually 'shrinking'. They don't often get fitted.

Re: Wot, not another '79 Targa resto thread

Great stage to be at and looking grand!

Something not right about that rear left bellows. Should be straight along the botttom and not so kinked at the top.

Have you got the metal wire in the middle?

Re: Post backdate clear out 1985 3.2 Carrera

I'll take the door cards, pockets, and bins please at £100.

I only want the door pockets and already have nice lids so will happily sell on the door cards and pocket lids.

Will, you'll need to post as usual. No big rush.

Please do. If there is a part number on the bag that would be useful also.

Re: Random Bits

Evening,

I'll take:

ATE brake pad fitting kit
Number plate brackets
Rear flexi hoses

Also, is that some heater pipe on the bottom left of the second from last photo? What length is it?

Cheers,

Al

That's a Yay from me.

But then I do use my car in the wet from time to time...although not during the winter.

Re: blower motor

The fan is just a really really tight fit onto the motor shaft.

It will come off but you'll probably have to make up some sort of contraption to minimize damage to the fan. Long time since I last did this but I think I ended up buying new fan blades.
