BHP per tonne

I often see this figure being quoted as a good measurement of the power of a car but I have no idea how to work it out - it's not that I don't know how to divide one by the other - I've just no idea on how much a tonne is and how much (say) a 3.2 carrera weighs in terms of tonnes - I seem to remembe...

Hmmm - that's a bit more radical than I wanted. I was considering blood orange bumpers with a black stripe..... Maybe for the future.

I've got a spare RS front bumper in the attic - May paint that up in the future so can swap them over easily if I wanted a more 'in yer face' look

OK here's a pic - not got any 'before' pics though http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a314/markslade/various009.jpg Not surprisingly the wire wool has scratched it, but it does make it look older. Bugger - I've tried twice now and can't get a decent close-up picture of it - you'll have to take my wor...

Just got mine today - many thanks Darren. They look pretty good but as was said previously, very shiny. I painted some bleach onto mine (tried the back first) - left it there a for about an hour. Didn't seem to do anything really - some black stuff came off when I wiped it (then rinsed it) but could...

Nige - you're absolutely right - I've had to order the plates as "show plates" and I'll just risk it. My reg is non-year anyway so no-one will know it's not a '73 car unless they check out the V5 document. Thanks for the car collection offer - I think I'll sort it out somehow  Alam - ...

Hi Andy,

Steve (the owner) says it could be next week! I think that's a bit optimistic - I'd be happy with any time before Christmas. Can't wait to drive it again though - this nissan micra is p1ssing me off.

Gary - yes - it does look very similar to yours.

Thanks everyone for all your comments - yes I'm very excited. Had small problem with the heated windscreen - the company supplying it won't deliver it! The garage are going to have to send someone down there to pick it up which is a bit of a pain and will add to the cost of the windscreen. Just popp...

Yes - that's why I'm going with the 'off-road' ride height

- until I can drop it and turn it into a snow plough that is
