Despite my lack of understanding of the CDI ign system, if it's a problem that manifests itself only when there is a high electrical load, voltage drop could still be a factor, if there's an electric pump could it affect fuel pressure or delivery? W

One can be an Autojumbler, without being a 'trader'.....I am sometimes one! Some of the Marchal and Cibie stuff is not particularly rare in France, nos is less common than used. It's a bit like Lucas stuff over here....Enoz has sources, Probably village vide-greniers (their equivalent of a car boot)...

The following thoughts are not based on any 911 experience. The symptoms of your problem have led you to suspect the coil, I would be inclined to suggest that they lead to a voltage drop in the supply to the coil. Am I correct in thinking the problem hesitation does not exist in daylight with the li...

+1 for Lucca recomendation, lovely, there's also an excellent tool hire shop on the ring road, who's fabulous hydraulic puller made light work of removing our Frazer Nash rear hub, to repair a broken brake pivot! Have fun, W

Question for the Watchies: Teague Jnr turns 18 at end if December and a pressie possibility is a decent watch.
