Re: 911R Intake Manifolds
For those wondering, this project came to a halt when I left FLM in 2019, and then after it closed with the help of a couple of third parties, who obtained the relevant parts/ pattern equipment I was able to continue this project as Westbound Restorations.. See my new thread for manifolds and High b...

Re: A stab into the past: Triumph throttle bodies and other
I’ve also had them on my vacuum test rig, and they balanced nicely at 4, and at about 20. They are very similar to adjust as A MFI throttle body.

Re: A stab into the past: Triumph throttle bodies and other
Just curious about the linkage and the pivot lengths and angles and what it does to the rate of opening of the butterflys and whether it in fact matters? What's the ideal "opening rate" profile as the throttle is pressed? The pivot lengths are the same as used on the Weber carbs. I’ll pre...

Re: A stab into the past: Triumph throttle bodies and other
I’ve remade the patterns for the throttle bodies, and turned the shafts thro 90 degrees. I’ve prototyped the linkage, which is now being drawn for the laser cuts

Re: A stab into the past: Triumph throttle bodies and other
Very curious then, if you don’t mind sharing. Sounds like it might have potential for 914/type4/type3 conversion to use modern injectors. I’ll dig out my invoice, and see how much I paid for them, I bought a bulk quantity to get the price right, then fit on a 14mm injector, and take a 8 mm hose. Th...

Rain hat for Weber carbs
Wanted in preferably steel, a rain hat. I only need one, as I want to make a press tool to make some more in Aluminum.
If anyone can spare one for a week, I promise to return it in the condition received, or I will buy an odd one, or a pair.
Thankyou

Re: 911 R style EFI high butterfly
Further development today, engine in and got the linkage working. Trial fitted the fuel distribution block, with built in pressure regulator Can anyone lend me a rain hat, either fibreglass or steel, so I can get some amber fibreglass ones made? Pictured with tall manifolds, and the prototype thrott...

Re: A stab into the past: Triumph throttle bodies and other
Here are some pictures of the manifold I’m making and the efi system. The throttle bodies are what a fenn Lane customer obtained with his dismantled car. They were bare, but I’ve used triumph internals to build them up. I was going to use these with PMO manifolds, but I’m recasting the TB’s at 80 mm...
