And what a great advert it is.
Full of useful detail, devoid of wanky dealer waffle. Comes across as honest and knowledgeable.
Would that all dealers were like that guy.

Re: Anyone brave enough
Marketing that as a replica of the Wallis in the Bond film is like painting a Beetle with yellow Dulux gloss and saying it’s a replica of the Ruf CTR.
Not that I’d be brave enough to go in the real thing either.

They corrected it part way through the auction.

Re: 911s finally finished
Yes! Look at that! It’s pretty brilliant to buy a new car. Brillianter still to commission one to be built for you. But nothing is more brilliant than doing so much of it yourself. Doesn’t matter in the slightest if you’ve accidentally passivated a washer that would have been bright zinc from the fa...

You’d fit half a dozen systems in the engine bay. Loads of room.

Re: 928
My friend ran a manual S2 as his main car from 95-140k miles from maybe 2014-2018 or so. He reckons he broke even to almost the £ (he had a spreadsheet…) on running costs vs appreciation, about £2k a year on average. It was basically very reliable and he got 22mpg over its time with him (also on the...
