Engine lid

Hi all

Before l get the cutter out. Anyone done this mod themselves? Or can anyone highlight any reason as to not do it. It’s the mesh grill in the engine lid I’m referring to just to be clear.

Re: 356 Speedster Flat6 outlaw build

Hi Greg,

Yes got a guy that’s very keen to buy, I’m half tempted if honest, as i’m running out of things to do with the car now ;-). We’ll see.

It’s good that you got it all hooked up and running. Just get behind the wheel and have some fun with it and get some miles on it ready for your road trip.

Hi Greg,
nice to bump into you at Stanford even though it was brief. Once you get these few niggles sorted, they’ll be no stopping you. What’s the turn around time for the glass?

Re: My Speedster Clinic coupe

I think it also depends on what a car is registered as and if it's been IVA'd - naturally effects prices achieved It is registered correctly..... So with you saying that, your not being clear as to whether it’s an IVA’d vehicle. I think this would be more appealing to any buyer thats going to consi...

Re: Next Project

Whilst the engine is out decided. Decided to replace the engine surround tins as they have been chopped about with the different set ups I’ve had in the past. I’ve added the changes and cut them out of some flat sheet Carbon. Next was to tidy up the Cooling shroud. Not being the best gel coat finish...

Re: 356 Speedster Flat6 outlaw build

Hi Greg not sure on the limitations. Stainless might be on the tough side to press them in but l couldn’t say for sure? What sizes was you thinking of? If the stainless is to hard, do it in aluminium and polish the louvres and paint the rest http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w181/mdmax72/AA3FC145-4...

Re: 356 Speedster Flat6 outlaw build

Hi Greg Bearing in mind that your hard top was designed for drop in Windows that sit on the door capping and now your trying to line up the rear quarter with wind up window is going to be challenging. Think your right, only way to get it to look right is is abit of surgery to the roof. Got a few con...

Re: 356 Speedster Flat6 outlaw build

Looking good. The 123 is a nice bit of kit, being able to set the curve etc on your phone or laptop is a nice touch. Try the the 911 forum guys to see what to set the curve at?

No lsd. I thought this would be a straight walk in the park question but l guess not. Similar to asking what engine oil to use. Everyone has their choice ;-).
