Refurbished 2.4 / 2.7 con-rods

I had these refurbished by Wright Engineering Services in Daventry where they were rebushed and checked for roundness. They all have identical markings on them and 3 weigh 706g whilst the other 3 weigh 707g. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v221/iandonkin/IMG_6835.jpg Part number 911 103 105 0R: £2...

Brand New Turbo Oil Pump - Sold

I sourced this in 2007 when I was planning to build a new 2.4 engine - it's actually a 996 Turbo / GT2 oil pump that can be fitted to any air cooled 911 from '63 onwards subject to the appropriate crank case webbing modification (needs the shorter splined driveshaft also). http://img.photobucket.com...

Re: London Christmas Dinner

Thanks for the PM Chris - I'm pretty sure we will make it; I'll get Charlotte to have a look tomorrow and then send you some money.

After last year, our drinks must be free!

It's good to get time to catch up and it's looking fantastic. Glad to see I haven't missed the engine party.

Ian Jemison Engineering near York. 911ts3 +1 for Ian - he repaired a wheel on my 530d that has taken one almighty bash and it was perfect once back on the car. It did crack during the process (which he warned me about) , but his welding is pretty good too. For the sceptics amongst us, he does wheel...

So 10 years ago I'd just returned from an extended holiday to New Zealand and started my new job with NCR. I'd just picked up a 6-month old BMW 318ci but by mid year had swapped into my first 911, a late Carrera 3.2 with G50 box that I used as my daily drive for the next 2 years. How quickly time pa...

If all else fails Matt, you could give Ike at Chatsworth motor spares a call. If you can get past his sheer pomposity, he does carry an excellent selection of Weber bits. But charming he is not. Allegedly. http://maps.google.co.uk/maps/place?rlz=1T4SVEA_enGB360GB360&um=1&ie=UTF-8&q=ches...
