They look really lovely. I wonder if these are the ones out of my old purple targa. If so they are very confortable and I spent many happy hours in them. I investigated buying them back from Alan but could not bring myself to spend so much more on these seats than I got for the whole car, especially...

Ivory is "elfenbein" (code 132) and it's exclusive to 1970.
Unless someone has made up a colour plate code of 132 and stuck it on my car especially to fool me then 132 was alive and well in '73.
Whether my car is still ivory 132 is another matter.

elfenbein 132
Not sure if mine is really Ivory although the colour code is 132 which is Ivory.
Certainly it is a really bright white.

Thanks Hi Darren I found that link on Pelican and thought at the time that I should save it but didn't. It would have taken forever to find it again and it is a gem - thanks. Also thank you Targa boy - you are right - have a look at Darren's link which confirms your info. However before I get to the...

Targa side seal

I have read all I can find about this (there is lots) and looking on Pelican I see that successfully fitting new Targa top side seals is a skill and requires knowledge and patience. I am about to modify my new seal by chopping off about 2mm from the front end of the seal where it meets the windscree...

Barry I would love to come along too. I am quite happy with lecture / discussion / demonstration rather than hands on although it always nice to try things out. Experts like you usually make things look easy and they never are at all. However already there are lots of people interested so just put m...

very crossed up on damp road this afternoon

I was very lucky not to collect a wall or worse so apart from the fact I need to learn respect again I think I would like to get a new set of tyres. I was looking for a set and noticed someone in the forum recommending Pirelli P7s I looked on tyretest.com and noticed that P6s come out even better - ...

Alan You are doing a really wonderful restoration and it is a joy to watch it progress so quickly. I am really pleased for the new owner to get a colour that they like and secretly a bit relieved that if it is not purple anymore and it will not seem like my car any more - so I will now not be jealous.

Helen
Sounds good.
I have emailed them to see if they have any more.
I bought some door bins off ebay last week and although they are better than the ones I have, they are missing the trim.
