All I can do is post some images of mine which is a 1976 model (galvanized) that had corrosion around the battery tray, fortunately it only affected the top side of the pan, so only the top section was replaced around the battery tray across the front edge of the fuel tank to the other side, I'll ha...

I was there, but couldn't park with the DDK posse, the parking geeza said we were full, its was about 11ish tho. Could turn out tho! I couldn't see anyone I knew so not wanting to go up to strangers asking if they were in the DDK I kept quiet. Perhaps we should have some kinda sign/badge or special ...

In my experience, however, it was not the gun-metal gear wheels becoming loose on the shaft, as described in the article..... If you do need a hand, get in touch, Leicestershire isn't that big ! I'm just round the back of Leicester Forest East services..... round the back of the motorway services!!...

I doubt any, with exceptions of the most pedantic MOT centre would notice, for a start they'd have to take you car for a spin to notice and for £25-30 they're gonna want it off the ramps asap for the next punter. Lets face it, its not the speedo its the rust in the structural parts you're gonna have...

I'm with Aon also as recommended by so many off here, £200 fully comp classic, with no mileage limit, or need for no claims. Kept on drive over, 30 years, fine upstanding citizen and all the usual crap.

£20 for mine at my local car spares, just matched the numbers up and it turned out to fit countless other vehicles tho it is a 912E.

Try

£47.50 for secondhand sounds steep to me, surely its not a 912 specific item.

before you replace your regulator, check that its earthed properly, I went around the garden path about 3-4 times with the same over charging problem. I replaced the regulator, had the alternator rebuilt and it still overcharged, turned out in the end that the ali cage that the regulator sits on in ...

Early Panel - Late Car

Is it a done thing in Porsche circles to stick early panels on a late car? Similarly with late Beetles, I guess alot of us have bolted up pre 67 sloping wings, deck lids and lights for that early feel, probably still doing it! Seems to be the other way around with Porsches, mainly 911/12s, has anyon...
