Don’t think it is EV’s. Tesla owners are going through the roof, with quotes that were around £400 a year in 2022, to £800+ in 2023, and this year, a lot are seeing renewal quotes of £2000+. Had the same issue with design 911 when they said a 23mm brake master cylinder would be correct for a 1971 car - ordered it, fitted it, made the pedal rock hard, then would not entertain any refund or acceptance, that was nothing was wrong with it, when it should have been a 19mm one.
