When I drained mine ( very similarly problem, but different configuration) I disconnected the fuel pipe at the engine end and fitted a pipe that I put in a Jerry can. I ran the car’s own fuel pump to pump the fuel out and safe. I only had 10 Litres or so. It might work or yours too Jason. Good luck ...

Question for those in the know. It seems that my TAG Heuer isn’t manual winding. If I’ve let it run down, then I can’t manual wind it. But if I wear it for a bit, self winding does the trick. Worth checking the ignition basics 1st, points gap etc as this can lead to erratic tachometer. But you’ve probably done this already…

19mm ID rubber petrol pipe, about 450mm long,
E10 proof. Goes between my tank and the EFI pump. Non standard due to the mix of parts on my car !!
