Re: 1967 912 Restoration, now painted
Been a bit of slow progress this year, between getting married, building a business and moving units. I have managed to get most of the rear end up built up. https://i.ibb.co/vJXV2rV/1-F8-AFE57-EA03-4136-A77-D-057-C10-EB7486.jpg https://i.ibb.co/rdrGrqB/86942-E20-6539-4454-9515-5-EC3-E63-FCE72.jpg h...

Rear bearing inner seal wanted
Hey guys, I’m desperately trying to get hold of a seal that has been discontinued by Porsche, and doesn’t come with the bearing set I’ve purchased. I have one just need the other before I can finish the rear brakes, it’s the seal that sits on the rear of the hub (not the sprung seals) and inside the...

1967 911/912 front recaro seats
Pair of front seats taken from my 67 912. Black vinyl appears to be all original, some cracking to the top corner of both seats (see pictures). Would clean up well for a patina car or ideal for retrim. Collection from Northampton NN1 £1750 https://i.ibb.co/TPNVbfv/D310480-C-2-C3-F-4302-8-F5-A-DB8-E3...

Re: 1967 912 Restoration, now painted
Cheers.
Looked at pulling them apart to replace them, but the plating company said they could do it with them in, so decided to leave them for now, and they turned out well.

Re: 1967 912 Restoration, now painted
Small bit of progress tonight, received a load of parts back from the platers, so built my pedal box back up with new bushes. https://i.ibb.co/Gv6V0pm/AE22-AA7-C-781-C-471-C-A91-B-E2-D36-EB5831-A.jpg Before https://i.ibb.co/5nvSdhz/95-B48293-85-C0-45-D8-BBCE-53-A08-DF7-FEF9.jpg https://i.ibb.co/h9YH...

Long overdue update. Finally started getting some of the refurbed and new parts bolted back on, starting with the rear suspension. Re: 1967 912 Restoration, now painted
Maybe try ACF-50 - spray on, wait, wipe off, job done. Its not permanent but will last a wee while before it needs re-coating.... Cheers, I’ll look into that and give it a try. Or chromate them, darker finish but properly protected. I simply painted my wheels (Dymag magnesium race wheels) after cra...

Re: 1967 912 Restoration, now painted
looks stunning .. hopefully youre keeping the wheels like that ? ... or is the mag going to have ti be painted for protection ? Yeah planning to keep the raw finish. They will need some form of protection, just researching what to use.... I’ve had a few sets of mags now and they are like sponges, s...
