Re: Type 4 / 914 engine stand adapter / yolk

A standard yoke doesn't work very well.

Have you seen this ddk vendor?

Re: BMW Brake Upgrade

The pelican article on was looking at doesn't go into vented discs - I didn't think that was an option on a 914 set up without going the 5 lug route?

Re: BMW Brake Upgrade

22mm will be too thick for a 914 as they don't have vented discs. I'll have to check these to see if they are suitable. Fortunately the place is not far from where I work so will pay a visit and see if I can establish a more definite answer https://brakeparts.co.uk/shop/BMW/3%20Series/75-83/E21%203%...

Re: BMW Brake Upgrade

It's all a bit confusing isn't it! Hence my original post! I've found this supplier of brakes - but mentions 2 options which I assume are ATE and Girling. No idea yet which is which - more research required! Thanks! https://brakeparts.co.uk/shop/BMW/3%20Series/90-00/E36%203%20Series%20320~323~325%20...

BMW Brake Upgrade

Does anyone know the correct BMW brake calipers that can be bolted onto an early 914 front strut?

Looking to upgrade for the forthcoming season, but want to get the right bits!

Thanks

Iphone 6 - 64GB Space Grey

I'm selling my iPhone 6 - its in good condition except for a slight dent in the back (doesn't affect operation in any way) and a few minor scratches on the corners. Battery life is all good and it comes with a brand new carbon fibre Mous case which are great for protecting smart phones - more info h...

Re: Fitting 5 lug Fuchs to my 914

Its an expensive exercise these days!! Even the wheels are going to set you back a fair wedge - there was a discussion on replica here: http://www.ddk-online.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=60902 having the hubs drilled will the be cheapest option, but i don't know of anyone who's done it over he...

Re: master cylinder replace or refurb?

The advice I've seen before is that it isn't worth the risk - the most important part of the car. So always replace with new

Wasn’t the smugglers box used to house a webasto heater. Can't remember if that was a factory option or an after market product.
