Jonathan: thanks for the heads-up.
That pcd is a strange one, 3.3'' otherwise they would have been just right.
I can't help but think the rims I have are too wide, (10 and 14'') but are matched to a 3.5'' pcd.

No, the Agent said it was all to 'flexible' and of undefinable length!
Don't you just love tripple webers? Pity they are not mine!

Quite a bit done believe it or not since the pic above.

12 months ago I installed poly bush mounts to box and engine. (PRI parts) They still give some freedom but I would guess at most 10% of the soft rubber OEM units. The difference to the car is remarkable. No transmission shake on full-bore accelleration, much sharper gear change etc. I do not like so...

That's the one bit of advice I was after!
You know more about that car than anyone! (inc me...)

I bet it costs a fortune :drunken:

EVERYthing except Jonathan's advice does.
Never build a race car gentlemen.

Thank you all for the info (read your email John, thanks). I've read Sweepco but only on Bert's site and Transend's. My 911 has a 915 with no LSD, the Lola a 915 with LSD. It is the 911 that comes in first. I don't take cars to garages except for MoT's and when Bob Watson's skills are needed! I'll d...

915 gearbox: which oil?

This question has probably been asked before, but i'm new to DDK, but not 911's. I road and hillclimb my 3.2 engined '73 T and have done so for years. The oil in the 915 (non LSD) went in a full 12 years ago....so time to change what might be left in there. The box works a treat, so things are sound...

When buying the PMO's if that is where you end up, be sure you get the right inlet manifolds. There are 2 types, one for engines with Carbs originally on and one for 'mechelec' engines, ie the 3.2. The mechelec has additional material on the head/manifold side to cover the injector cut-out. You will...

I have run the '3 pipe' silencer on a 2.2 on weber, a 2.4 on mech Inj and now the 3.2 in my Bitza 911T from 1991 to today.(and it was not new then so a bit empty inside by now) The noise levels are a bit OTT with the pipes open but the throttle response is much better on the 3.2 (injected) but was n...
