No, I even jacked up the front of the car to give it some help. I’ve disconnected the fuel line to the pump. Should it be pouring out?

I have an early , early T6. Bottom fuel sender tank. with the early fuel pump.

I'll make sure that the filter is not blocked in the petcock (haven't tried that)

You said you got a key cut for your lock?

I have a lock and a blank key but haven't been able to find anyone to cut the key.

Did you do it yourself? I must admit I don't feel confident enough.
