Oh so true about the tunnel! Try anything to do with wiring from the front to the back via the tunnel... Having lived with my '73 911 for 2 decades with the hot Impreza in between, the 911 is a Zero problem zone I assure you. Adjusting the bonnet catch cable pull and getting it wrong AND fighting to...

It is indeed a jet so to meter the 'dose' to the cylinder. What about trying to blank it off completely and start the engine on '5' as it is the cold start only, so once running becomes unused as the soleniod stops running too? Just a thought if you cant find a T. You can get a wide range of T's fro...

Wanted: 911 oil pressure/temp guage

Preferably one from a 3.2, but I think the early ones are the same.
Not bothered about Deg C or Deg F etc, just one that works for my racer.

A tacho would be good too!
I need to keep a check on this:

Never heard of the original specialist in this thread, seen Colin race his 911 on many a hillclimb. Car is a full-on performer, and Colin is proud of his achievements, and very rightly so. Ace outfit. I think if you can get a good report on your specialist, get on with them and above all trust them,...

Hello Matt: DDK is as good as you told me! There is a very similar site '22B' for Imprezas which runs in the same simple straight forward manner. This year i will start in the trusty 911 but i hope the Lola Porsche will be finished by late June! It is a 1978 Sprots 2000 Lola T 490 now with a stout 3...

I stole this clip yesterday and posted it on the 'thinking Impreza person web site, '22B' where they are sensible and somewhat bias.. (I used to have a hot Impreza for hillclimbing) Knocked them dead, and they are suitably impressed. It is a great run, and hillclimbing a simple 911 it just shows how...

After a long hard day in the garage that is a perfect end. What a great piece of footage!
What a great engine! My 3.2 doesn't run like that...

Is that an RSR on mech injection or what.

The crunch at the end made my 23 year old daughter yelp!

Fantastic.
