I think all the relevant info is in this thread including some views on HId and other LED type bulbs. It was a simple decision for me- lights that work properly and legally are worth the money. If it were me I'd be keeping the skoda. Having one modern, reliable, relaxing, Teutonic car is in my opinion an essential vs the rest of them which will all be compromised in some way. I'd take a cayman over a boxster tbh. And another spanner in the works. What about a BMW Z4 M car? Coupe or tin top...

If you have an original one for a 2.2S and were able to sell, I need one to replace the replica fitted to my car.
