Re: 915 box + WEVO internal selector: any real experiences?

Graham, as my car is still far from completion I could always remove my system from the car for you to try for size.
Give me a call if it would help.

Re: 915 box + WEVO internal selector: any real experiences?

Graham, In case you have not looked at the cable shift system I am using before, I have attached the link http://www.cableshift.com/915/915%20page.html I'm using this with my 914 box and am really impressed. Re: Boxster engine and pdk gearbox weight?

Graham, a fully dressed 3.2 is 482lbs and 915 box is 116lbs although the mag case box you have is a few pounds lighter from what I remember. The Boxter 3.4 is about the same weight dry but you will need to add radiators and water etc, and the PDK box is significantly heavier and although 7 speed is n...

Re: Way O/T, but anyway

I bought 996 C4s just over a year ago and use it as a daily driver. I was concerned about all the bearing failure and bore scoring stories, but eleven thousand miles on as it approaches 96 k I have nothing but praise for the car. Buy carefully, make sure you have a service history and just use it fo...

Re: For the love of Morgan cars

Re: Classic v 996 S?

Graham, do it.. I have recently bought a 996 C4s with all the toys and am loving it as a daily driver. There are a lot of scare stories re the IMS problem etc but I bit the bullet and bought a car with a good history and after a recent full check over by a specialist including thoroughly checking th...
