Re: VW Vanagon GL
Really nice van.....Person ally I'd leave the 2.1 in it. I ran one for 4 years and it's still around here in Dorset what must be 10 years on going strong.
The steering wheel cover might inspire me to cover my T5 one too !!!!!

Re: Respirator recommendations?
Gents , just choose a quality (3M) product that is comfy to wear with simple particulate filters. unless you have a face fit test you'll never know if its actually working to give the correct assigned protection factor. Re: RS bumper with spots resale or payment ?
Long time since last but I'm clearing my garage for a repaint in anticipation of the Healey coming home. I want this gone , I don't want the lamps for the Healey so its a modified bumper and a pair of pretty good Cibie Oscars . Any takers at £200 ?

Re: '72 T Hesitation & lack of top end
All good advice but take care blowing compressed air into the carbs, crushed floats maybe an unexpected and unwelcome result. Much better and simpler to remove the carbs to clean them properly once you are sure the supply is clean and clear.

RS bumper with spots resale or payment ?
Hi folks, several years ago I modified this brand new RS type bumper to take cibie spots like the Garrad decks sponsored racer. Its pretty well done but will need final paint prep to perfectly balance the moulding if one was ultra critical. It was for a DDK er who has disappeared as far as I can tell...

Ahhh its my old car ( non porsche)
This popped up at Charterhouse for their sale tommorrow, another one I should have kept. I did have a look today but it needs a fair bit of "recommissioning" http://www.charterhouse-auction.com/preview/classic-cars-and-motorcycles/cars/lot-86-15000-20000/ I remember my current ( and only )...
