SWB chrome instrument surround

Looking for good condition original chrome instrument bezels for an early SWB 911. I particularly need one for the far left fuel and oil level gauge, but may take others if available. An equivalent 912 part would do too. Anyone anything suitable? Many thanks, Robert

Re: Abu Dhabi GP

I guess red flag might have been a possibility at one point, but Masi thought - correctly in many respects - that he could get it swept up under yellows and continue. On lapped cars unlapping themselves or not, people understand they would have been blue flagged out of the way immediately after the ...

Re: Abu Dhabi GP

Agreed. Those were the options. One-lap dash or five-lap procession. They are both unsatisfactory from a sporting point of view, but I think Masi had the discretion to choose between them and I believe his decision is defensible. I imagine that is why - for now, at least - Merc’s protest has not bee...

Re: Abu Dhabi GP

The idea that the race director can use discretion means the rules don’t apply or there aren’t any rules is not right. There have to be sensible sporting or safety issues at play and that was the case. Masi thought a one-lap dash to the line less unsatisfactory than a five-lap procession behind the ...

Re: Abu Dhabi GP

I have no problem with the result or the way it came about. I believe the race director has a limited amount of discretion and chose to use it in a way I can understand. It wasn’t the only thing he could reasonably have done, but neither was it unreasonable. There was always going to be a winner and...
