Re: RHD 1969 911s on ebay

Sill contours etc look terrible. I suspect there's plenty of work lurking under there... Instruments and switchgear look mostly correct. As the ad points out, some of the oil system pipework / junctionry is there, and is hard to find. Sound pad might be original too, if liberally embellished with re...

Hi Richard I'd be very interested to hear your thoughts on that when you try it. A few of us are SWLondon based, we should get out for good drive early one morning Sounds good, count me in. I'm in Farnham; there are some decent roads south of here. Goodwood Breakfast Club one Sunday? Cheers, Richard.

Should I go through NOTHING TO DECLARE in the UK? https://www.gov.uk/duty-free-goods/arrivals-from-outside-the-eu In short, if the total value is over 390GBP you should go through red and declare. If you end up paying duty+VAT it will be a non-trivial percentage. Import duty varies depending on typ...

That's a bit strong, when PDK diesel Cayennes exist!
I think they are great, but arguably not worth the premium over a NB. Still great though, by almost all wider standards.

Manufactured group. You'll need to remove an item of clothing to check the build number.
All X-factor finalists have a barcode tattoo-ed on their backsides. Simon Cowell does it personally.

Re: Are these cars losing there soul

Hi Dave, I think you are kind-of saying that restoration and preservation is all getting too easy - to find parts and get the work done. I'm with Darren on this one. I don't think it is, not to do it well. Still seems to benefit from serious investment of time. By investing that time we meet (online...
