Re: 914 WIRING DIAGRAM
Hi Ian, I think I have one in the factory 914 manual set, but I doubt if it’s in colour.
I’ll have a look when I go out to the garage in the morning.
Hope you’re both well,
Cheers

Re: 4 bolt cv joint
If you are just replacing a cv joint, be careful. There are 2 different depths of 110mm cv. Check which one you have. £263 does sound expensive for just one joint.

Re: Question about VAT on an imported classic ...
Hi Andy,
I would assume so, since HMRC will only look at the current transaction, ie a classic vehicle being imported from the EU.
Having said that, I'm definitely not an expert in the subject............

Well Chris Turner's engine lasted 30 race seasons not bad at all![/quote]
Absolutely! It finished the season, and its competition career, with three class wins at Wiscombe Park

Re: What did you do in/on/for your Porsche today?
Needs its own engine build thread I think? Sorry - I might have done it if I was building myself, but this technology is way above my knowledge. Always surprised something like a 996GT3 crank goes into an early engine! Assuming that’s what you are building of course It’s still a Mezger engine ……….....

Meanwhile, “somewhere in England”, parts are gathering for a new engine in the JW hillclimb 911. https://i.postimg.cc/kXWpTPjC/IMG_6295.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/nLhSVjnV/71f81f2c-2c47-4b76-87f1-1df7a830d985.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/4drW1WVn/54280778-a473-4ed2-8140-dd675fa1c983.jpg https://i.postimg....

That looks like the steel bush in the middle of the rubber (or poly) bushes. It normally comes with the replacement bush kit.
