Re: The DDK Nationals

It looks like Hedingham will be 14/15th September weekend this year, the same weekend as the BHC round at Doune.

No contest - we'll be in Scotland! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

No - I can't even think of his name, but I do admire him for driving from London to Shelsley Walsh regularly in the McLaren in all weathers!

Re: The DDK Nationals

If you want an event to hang a Yorkshire DDK day (or weekend) around, how about the British Championship Hillclimb at Harewood on 6/7th July? It also has a round of the PCGB Speed Championship, so there will be plenty of Porsche interest, including ourselves in the BHC Cup hopefully. There's plenty ...

Re: Race Retro cancelled

On Sunday at about 15.30, I walked along this lane near home with my daughter, grand-daughter and dog, nothing untoward other than the water was quite high in the ditches. https://i.postimg.cc/KjVhQhSj/IMG-6533.jpg On Monday at the same time, this was as far as the dog and I could go :? This is befo...

Re: my non-Porsche picture of the day

I presume that the seller isn't talking about the South-West of England. Either that or he/she doesn't get out much, the South-west is full of hillclimb and sprint courses ...............

I’ve used ordinary EP90 in my 915 gearbox with a ZF LSD for over 30 seasons without any problems.

Bob Mortimer lightened it, installed a 3.5 litre RS engine, and drove the wheels off it! A really good friend a...

Re: KS's hillclimbing odyssey

And today's good news is getting my entry accepted for the St Goueno hillclimb in Brittany. It seems all places were filled immediately, with the rest placed on a reserve list :) Nothing beats getting a few entries in to focus the mind on getting the preparation finished. Or, often in my case, gett...
