Just a heads up at the moment, but the Cape to Cape organizers are hoping to run a seventh tour in May next year. Route still not completely decided, but could end at Cape Finisterre (Spain), starting from Cape Cornwall. Carolyn and I shall be taking part, again raising funding for Macmillan Cancer ...

Re: 912 Distributor?
Thanks for your quick response... it's a 1966 912?!! At the moment it runs ok but have to set timing more advanced than it should be or it stalls, even when warm and has a flat spot at hign revs!! That's exactly what happened to me on the recent Poppy Rally. Timing had retarded and then needed adva...

As a member of HRCR, and rallier to boot, I can heartily recommend this course for beginners and novices. It is pitched at just the right level and if you turn up as a driver with no navigator, the course instructors will team you up with a navigator for the afternoon run. And then, should you wish ...

Post event blues...
During last weekend's Poppy Rally in Belgium the engine started to pop and bang and misfire. Loss of revs on acceleration. Nasty. Highly experienced rally service guru readjusted timing (had retarded itself after about 500 miles from rebuild and replacement of parts) and points. All went extremely w...

Paint reference number
has anyone any idea what the correct paint reference number is for Guards Red? I need some top up paint for the odd (!) patch of rust that I am about to remove.
Or, failing that, from whom I can purchase said paint?
Many thanks in anticipation.

I'm watching this saga with growing amazement at just what can be done with knowledge and space. I would be totally lost...and a wee bit apprehensive, if the truth be known. I'd never have the courage to do anything like that... But I am trying to get a restoration enterprise off the ground up here ...

I know this is a bit late, but: The Three Castles is an excellent event run over three days in wet Wales. It is made up of regularity sections as well as tests on private land. A good introduction for novices...but the experts amongst the entry will always be of help. Have I done it? No, it's quite ...
